CNHC at the Integrative & Personalised Medicine Congress
CNHC is pleased to have supported the Integrative and Personalised Medicine (IPM) Congress which took place on 16 to 18 June 2022 at the the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London.
We exhibited at the event we would like to thank everyone who visited at our stand. It was great to meet you all and we especially valued the opportunity to see our Registrants in person.
Guidance for Registrants on the Duty of Candour
The Duty of Candour applies to all UK health professionals who are subject to statutory regulation. It means being open and honest with clients when something has gone wrong with their provision of care, which causes or has the potential to cause, harm or distress.
CNHC Registrants are not subject to statutory regulation but it is deemed to be good practice to adopt the Duty of Candour in compliance with the requirement to justify public trust and confidence by being honest and trustworthy.
RCCM Annual Conference: Deadline for Abstracts extended
The deadline for submitting abstracts to the Research Council for Complementary Medicine (RCCM) Annual Conference (previously CAMStrand) has been extended to 17 July 2022. Successful abstracts will be published in a special edition of the RCCM newsletter and on their website and there will be a prize for the best abstract.
Help publicise CNHC's Accredited Register
We produce two leaflets – one aimed at complementary healthcare practitioners, encouraging them to “Stand Up for Standards” by registering with CNHC, and a public information leaflet aimed at people looking for a therapist, explaining how they can “Choose with Confidence” by searching our online Accredited Register.
As in-person events have started again, if you are exhibiting or speaking at an event and would like to help spread the word about CNHC’s voluntary Accredited Register, or would like to display some public information leaflets in your practice’s reception area – you can order them from us free of charge.
Email us at [email protected] stating the leaflet(s) you would like, the quantity required, the date you need them by and where to send them. Please allow at least 4 weeks for delivery as we mail out around once a month.
