UKRF Animal Reiki Practitioner Membership

We are delighted to announce that Animal Reiki Practitioners can now apply to become UK Reiki Federation Animal Reiki Practitioner members. Many of our members and potential members have been waiting for this day and we look forward to receiving your applications. This is a very exciting move as it starts to recognise Animal Reiki as a profession in its own right. Animal Reiki is not just an add-on to Reiki and this development makes it clear.

When members are recognised for their Animal Reiki skills, knowledge and expertise, they will be advertised at no cost on our website directory. Our aim is for this initiative to help raise the standards of Animal Reiki training and practice, and to provide parents and carers of animals with details of such Animal Reiki Practitioners.

What’s more, Animal Reiki membership will be included within UKRF Reiki membership, following an initial one-off application fee to cover evaluation and admin.Coming soon:

Sue Malcolm, UK Reiki Federation Animal Reiki co-ordinator joined our management Committee over 4 years ago with a dream to make Animal Reiki mainstream and a respected profession in its own right. She proposed the creation of national training standards for Animal Reiki within UKRF and then across all eight Reiki Council member organisations. Her idea was for common requirements to be set for the training and professional recognition of Animal Reiki Practitioners, Master Practitioners and Teachers. She has put her heart and soul into leading this industry project with an end goal of Reiki benefiting more animals, gently, lovingly and effectively. Today sees the initial launch of this work and the start of a new branch of membership for UKRF.
