CNHC Workshop at IPM 24: The regulation of complementary healthcare in the UK
This year’s CNHC workshop at the Integrative and Personalised Medicine (IPM) Congress takes place on Thursday 6 June at 14.15 at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster.
Whether you are a complementary therapist who wants to demonstrate to your clients that you practise safely and are willing to hold yourself accountable, or a mainstream healthcare provider whose patients would benefit from receiving complementary therapies, this workshop will give you an insight into how CNHC registrants work alongside mainstream medicine to provide a holistic approach to improve the health and wellbeing of the nation, reducing the pressure on GPs.

Making sure you comply with the law on advertising and the treatment of cancer
As a CNHC registrant, you may be practising therapies which are used by those receiving treatment for cancer. It is therefore imperative that you familiarise yourself with the provisions of the Cancer Act 1939 and take care to ensure that your advertising complies with the law.
We have recently updated our Guidance on the Cancer Act 1939 with details of information published by Cancer Research UK and advise our registrants to read it carefully.
