METHODOLOGY

A single-group, pre- and post-test design of an 8week program. Participants attended weekly sessions that included Reiki, yoga, and meditation.
N=8 nurses
Participants completed the Perceived Stress Scale, Coping Self- Efficacy Scale, Maslach Burnout Inventory, and Mindful Attention Awareness Scale at baseline, at last session, and 1 month after last session.

RESULTS AND COMMENTS

Results: Improvements were noted in perceived stress, coping, burnout exhaustion subscale, and mindfulness.

However, there was no specific mention of Reiki in the results or discussion.
