Gifted Hands Reiki

My healing journey began over ten years ago after my dad lost his battle with lung cancer, but I have always considered myself an empath.

Before becoming a Reiki Practitioner, I have worked as a Volunteer in other caring roles including training as a Befriender with the charity Scope to provide support and companionship to lonely and emotionally distressed people; working in the classroom with children with additional needs at local junior and infant schools. I was also a Governor at a junior school for several years where I was a member of the Safeguarding Committee.

After losing my Dad, Reiki helped me personally through the grieving process, it also helped me with depression, stress, and anxiety. As a Mom of two young adults, life has presented me with many challenges including bringing up children with Asperger’s Syndrome; mental health issues; anxiety; sleep issues and challenging behaviour.

I truly believe that these challenges have been lessons that I was required to learn to be able to help others improve their overall health and wellbeing. I appreciate that everybody is different, and I am happy to adapt the session to meet your needs and preferences. I have a sensory box with a selection of sensory toys for anybody who would find these helpful as well as a Social Story here on the website to help guide you or your loved one through what they need to know in readiness for their treatment.
